In line with the long, proud tradition of our country inn,
“wining and dining” continues to occupy an important role at the Sellhorn.

Our various dining lounges are front and center.
No impersonal dining room, no large restaurant
– guests find their favorite spot in cozy inn rooms,
comfortable hunting style lounges, or elegant dining rooms.

Our half-board (included in many arrangements)
is a sumptuous breakfast buffet (served from 7.00 to 11.00)
and a 3 course menu:
soup or appetizer

- usually one fish, one meat or one vegetarian dish -

You can enjoy this 3 course menu in our restaurant anytime from 11.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.,
we are very flexible and endeavour to suit your appetite.
The price per person without an arrangement is € 24.00.
We are happy to meet requests for changes or special dietary requirements,
even at short notice.

Our menus are varied and feature
constantly new and delicious creations.
There is always a selection of wholesome regional dishes,
and guests with a small appetite will find something delicious to their liking as well.

Our "Eurotoques" chef Jörn Sommer has a few strict principles,
which he observes religiously.
Everything served from his kitchen is fresh, homemade, and of the finest quality.

Fresh fish practically jump from Hamburg directly into his pans,
and he insists that all meat products are of regional origin.
The Heath is his vegetable garden,
 his asparagus treasure trove and mushroom paradise,
and his herb garden is the envy of all who behold it.

Like all restaurants with "Regionale Esskultur" (local food culture)
we have committed ourselves to obtain 50% of all ingredients from the area of the Lüneburg heath.
Original recipes, locally produced vegetables and traditional art of cooking are important to us.
The dishes meeting these criteria are marked with the emblem of "Regionale Esskultur" in our menu.
