Our new house wine
Since this past summer, we’ve been serving our own house wine at our restaurant. This wonderful Pinot Gris from Tobias Rickes is a harmonious blend of fresh pear aromas and a robust finish.
Now’s your chance to try it for yourself at our restaurant! This winter, it will be followed by a full-bodied red wine.
Refined country cuisine: restaurant with fresh products from the region
Our restaurant is the casual meeting place for early risers and late risers, hotel guests or visitors who rely on the variety of the Sellhorn restaurant buffet. Get your day off to the best possible start with a delicious breakfast. The extensive breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in our restaurant and can also be enjoyed on the terrace.
What would a traditional country hotel in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath be without homemade cakes, tarts and desserts? All of this awaits you in the appropriate parlors, restaurants, lounges and the cozy terrace. Freshly brewed coffee, aromatic tea and many other hot and cold treats round off your afternoon perfectly.
Á la carte can be ordered Monday to Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rustic, regional or international, depending on your taste. It is important to chef Jörn Sommer to use regional ingredients that are absolutely fresh and to adapt the menu to the seasons, thus offering the greatest possible variety. Everything in our restaurant in the Lüneburg Heath is prepared with great attention to detail.

Access to the restaurant is stepless, as is our wind-protected inner courtyard with garden terrace. A spacious, handicapped-accessible restroom is located in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant and banquet rooms. Smokers will also find their place in the Alte Gaststube.
